Lost Soul is the term used when someone has recieved a special power that when activated does not only changes the user's look but gives him or her a new ability. However, the user also loses human feelings and wishes when they recieve this power, forcing them to fake these in order to survive. However, feelings like lust for killing and wishes for hurting others stay, making the user in a way or another wanting to kill and/or hurt others. So far, the only one whose soul did not need other people as sacrifices is Crystalia.

History

The creation of Lost Souls were first discovered by an ancient civilization. By time the civilization however found it dangerous and sealed the information on how to create Lost Souls among other things in seven rings they had created. The rings were sealed away deep in an underground cave and were later discovered by the first-generation Hiraza guardians. They put on the rings, and all information sealed into the rings were downloaded into the minds of the bearers, which made their minds break. Lpel, the first-generation Hiraza boss, wrote down the process of creating a Lost Soul before he died. That book was later discovered by Hiraza Vate, whom is currently the only person capable of creating Lost Souls.

Souls by Attributes

Just like Waves, Box Weapons and Rings Lost Souls are classified by Dying Will Flames. They differ in power depending on what flame class they are classified as, for example, lighting-classified Souls usually have some sort of electric power.

Skills & Abilities

Release

To use one's soul's powers, one usually has to make a certain pose with one's body. After that, a command that has something to do with the soul's name is said, and the transformation begins. When released, the user takes on a beast-/monster-/demon- like appearence, and their eyes glow with the same color as their dying will flame. For example, Refridgerator puts his hands on his head, uses the command "Time for frost" (his soul being named "Gelum", meaning "frost"), and transforms into a 2-meter tall demon-like man of ice with orange, glowing eyes.

Trivia

  • Serdus' release pose is unkown, as it was never shown.
  • In a chat with Onak, he joked about there being someone with a soul capable of controlling Tsukumogami, but isn't strong enough and can only summon Bakezōri. When asked to name the character, the answer was "Kankororin Kararin. She has a twin sister called Kankororin Kororin as well." This is a joke about what a Bakezōri screams as it runs through the house in the night : "Kararin, Kororin, Kankororin!"
